E2D Technologies Private Limited was founded in 2009, placed an important role at the time of great leaps in India in Prototyping services, proudly to be one of the best companies in India for both local and international companies. We have offices in India, Netherlands, Canada, Vietnam & Argentina.
Since then, E2D Technologies has made remarkable contribution to the development of engineering & prototyping services.
During the last 14 years, we have developed ourselves as one of the biggest prototyping supplier with 85 CNC machines & 3D Printers together with Injection Molding and casting operations. We have done more than 10000 projects for 300+ customers. We have inhouse post processing facilities like painting, powder coating, anodizing, chrome plating, silk printing, etc. All the parts are checked individually or in batches before dispatching. We have a lead time of 2-4 weeks depending on the complexity of the parts and no. of parts.

With more than 50 years’ experience in our core business – the engineering of body-in-white plants – we have extensive technical knowledge that extends far beyond pure design work. From us, you get all services from a single source. Our project managers provide advice and support for your projects across all phases, from the very first step in the design through to commissioning on site, without loss of quality or time due to external interfaces. We also find the best and most cost-effective solution for you if you require special solutions.

Different integration scenarios help to find the best possible solution for the integration of other models and derivatives. We can also produce a detailed design for you within the scope of simultaneous engineering. HLS is also an expert in drawing up reuse and retooling concepts. We also draw up logistics concepts to optimise processes and to cut costs.

From simulation to reality. 
Thanks to state-of-the-art software programs, we display the complete plant geometry and represent all production processes realistically. We can show your factory of tomorrow today virtually. We check the cycle times using realistic values, perform feasibility studies in 3-D and write the programming for all standard robot types.

FINAL ASSEMBLY

Putting together all our experience of Manufacturing Planning and Product Development, we are able to bring the most optimal solution for the Final Assembly area.

From our Manufacturing Planning side, our Simulation capabilities help us to Virtually Build the complete Final Assembly line in 3D. This way, we can not only clearly visualize but also analyse the Assembly Line, for Cycle Time, Through put, Layout placements, etc.

One of the most critical topics here is, of course, Operator‘s Health & Safety. For this we are running various Man, Tool & Job assessments, to check both Operator Ergonomics as well as, Operator Fatigue.

From our Product Development side, our 3D Tolerance Variation Analysis helps us predict the Gap & Flush behaviour of large assemblies. Then we can go backwards and recommend the optimum Locator Plan.

Also, we can use our experience on Vis Mock-up to understand the clearances either for fitment of large assemblies with each other. And also for the operator & nut-runner‘s access, in tight difficult corners.

All this we can further support by providing right documentations around all these topics. Small but not insignificant are the Specifications for Fasteners and also the torque requirements for their optimum tightening levels.

DIE ENGINEERING

PRESS SHOP

Not just Die Design but Die Engineering, as a complete solution is our strength. We recommend the right Method Plan and Die Layout which is optimized for the geometry of the Product and available Press line at the Customer.

We add value to our customers because they get classical knowledge based solutions which is also verified by computer aided Formability Analysis. And during this process we take care of every possible,

  • Springback compensations needed to get the right tolerances
  • Material cost saving by having optimised Blank shape and the right part orientation
  • Tooling cost saving, by comibining operations or directly by optimising design

Either it is for Progressive Dies or Transfer Dies or Tandem Dies, our Engineers bring the same solutioning mind set also in the design of the Dies.

Since the design is completely parametric and completely based on the product data, we are able to make quick changes in the design for a quicker reaction and feedback, which reduces lead time. And when some of our Engineers can work in the back office in India, we can take direct advantages of time difference and further reduce our reaction time, on top of cost savings for our customers because of Low Cost Country advantages.

Since we have a strong Robotic Simulation team for Body Shop projects, we are easily able to simulate Robot reach and collision free movement for Tandem Press Lines.

The biggest advantage is when we are involved in Press Shop Engineering and Body ShopEngineering for the same Assemblies / Parts. This way the customer can have a lot of synergy advantages from Simultaneous Engineering, saving time and reducing communication losses. Also the decision making process is simplified, since all responsibilities are then under one roof.
